Promised by Blizzard several months ago, the PAID RACE CHANGE service is finally implemented. Now with just $25.00 USD, you are able to change one characters race within the same faction (Horde or Alliance) that has the same class as the character you are planning. Eg: you can Change a Human Paladin to a Dwarf Paladin, but you can’t change a Tauren Druid to an Orc Druid. Why? For they don’t even exist!

 The Race Chance service includes everything offered with the Character Re-Customization service, like changing the looks, gender and name of the character. The price of a race change costs $25.00 USD. However, only characters level 10 and above are eligible for a Race Change. Death Knights will be unable to change their race until level 60. If you are unhappy with your character’s new race, you are able to change it back after three days (You may change a character’s race every three days.), however, you got to pay for it once again. Next, I gonna tell you the steps after you initiate a Race Change. Once your payment has processed, you got to log out of the game for 30 minutes continuously in order to find  a new button to the left of the character’s name upon next login. Clicking on this button will allow you to select the character’s new race, and you will be able to customize the character’s look and name at the same time. Your character of a new race will be completed with just these few steps Oh, rememeber to press the button labeled “Click to change your character’s race” to confirm your selections in order to complete the Race Change. That’s ok if you don’t want to change the character’s race immediately, you can still do it later.

You may wish to know what will happen to your pets and mounts when you change your race, and that’s what I gonna explain here: For your non-combat pets, they will not be affected and once the Race Change process completes, they will be available again. But for the character’s mounts, those which are not race-specific will remain unchanged. For those race-specific mounts, they will be exchanged for a cross-race equivalent. You will need to view the list of exchangable mounts from Blizzard’s announcement.
